Glass Studio

Susie Mills has been creating glass art for 6 years from her home studio. Susie primarily works with recycled flat glass and coloured sheet glass from America. She is constantly experimenting with different styles and glasses. Currently you can visit her studio and see a mixture of pate de verre glass (also known as “sugar glass” ) which are small fragile pieces and large fused glass bowls which look fabulous in outside spaces like decks and gardens. Come and visit the beach and Susie will give you a tour of the studio - please call first. Even better, arrange to stay in the retreat for a night and have a wonderful break at Waikanae beach.
